Country Fair 2023: Juniors Soccer

Article from the Country Fair 2023 Hearth Issue

The Juniors soccer team is where new or returning players can further develop their skills. The players are situated in an encouraging environment where they can learn new tricks and move to play the fantastic game of soccer.

We always start our practice with a warm-up. It usually consists of a lap around the field and dynamic and static stretching. We then break up into drills, such as dribbling, passing, and ones. Finally, at the end of the practice, we will get to the part that everyone waits for, the scrimmage. We either scrimmage among ourselves or challenge the third team to a competitive and lively game.

Some of our upcoming games are against Cardigan Mountain School, Charlemont Academy, and Bement School.

Overall, I am thoroughly enjoying my time in Juniors Soccer. I look forward to future matches with my teammates and improving my skills.
