The JV1 soccer team at Eaglebrook School is a talented and passionate group of athletes under the guidance of Coach Trimbach-Rios and Coach Runk. Despite a challenging start to the season with several players dealing with ankle injuries and illness, our team demonstrated remarkable resilience and skill in our first game against rivals Cardigan Mountain School, triumphing with a convincing 4-0 victory.
Our practice sessions at Lower Upvall field are a testament to our commitment to excellence. We commence each practice with a focused jog, ensuring that we’re physically prepared for the tasks ahead. Dynamic stretching follows, a crucial step in preventing injuries and maintaining peak performance.
Once warmed up, we engage in precision drills thoughtfully orchestrated by our dedicated coaches. These drills include challenging scenarios like three offensive players maneuvering past two defenders within tight spaces, and intricate passing plays involving three team members.
Through dedication, teamwork, and a relentless pursuit of improvement, the Eaglebrook JV1 soccer team is on a path to a successful and exciting season.
This year, the JV1 soccer team consists of Lucas Alvarez Gaiani ’26, Ben Cha ’24, Vijay Chitnis ’26, Henry Choi ’24, Jose Miguel Garcia ’25, Edwin Gu ’24, Karry Kim ’24, Aiden Lee ’24, Henry Lee ’26, TK Lee ’25, Alex Li ’25, Diego Llaguno Velasco ’26, Mateo Mieres ’25, Daniel Park ’26, Diego Piccolo Clariond ’25, Gonzalo Saenz Garza ’25, Sangho Sun ’25, and Hans Yu ’24.
